I opened the door to my room, for the first time in a thousand years.
I had to say goodbye to the sun. He said he'd write me though- We're pretty good friends.
Take a couple steps on the hard wood floor, and feel like I should feel different.
Why doesn't my room smell like me?
Have a thousand different people spilled coffee on my desk?

Maybe I left the window open when I climbed out to see the sun.
I can see my footsteps all over the world. They all lead here.
I hear my own voice all over the world, interrupting myself, to talk to myself.
All these different voices, all these footsteps come together, and find their way to me, into my body.
